Disclosure of employee benefits explanatory(a) Retirement and other employee benefits · Retirement benefit in the form of provident fund is a defined contribution scheme. The contributions to the provident fund is charged to the statement of profit and loss for the year when the contributions are due. The Company has no obligation, other than the contribution payable to the provident fund. · The Company is liable for payment of gratuity. Gratuity liability is defined benefit obligation and is provided for on the basis of an actuarial valuation on projected unit credit method made at the end of each financial year. Actuarial gain and loss for the defined benefit plan is recognized in full in the period in which they occur in the statement of profit and loss. · Accumulated leave is provided for based on actuarial valuation. The actuarial valuation is done as per projected unit credit method. The Company brsents the entire leave as a current liability in the balance sheet, since it does not have an unconditional right to defer its settlement for 12 months after the reporting date. |
